The Sokol Run of the Republic in Prague is a professionally timed race that invites people to celebrate the founding of the republic through exercise, with a main race for adults and three children's runs.
The race base is at Tyršův dům on Újezd in Malá Strana, Prague 1, with the main route leading through Petřín Park and the children's routes through Kampa park.
According to the organizers the main route suits both experienced runners and amateurs, and children have their own categories.
Adults run 6.8 km starting at 14:00 in Hellichova street, while children run 800 m, 400 m or 100 m depending on their year of birth and start from 11:00; the entry fee is 550 CZK (650 CZK on site) for adults and 200 CZK (300 CZK on site) for children, including a bib, small gifts and a medal.
