Budō matsuri is a festival of Japanese martial arts where various schools and approaches to budō meet in one place. This is the 7th edition, held on 28 October 2026 from 11:00 to 18:00 at the ČVUT Sports Centre, Pod Juliskou 4, Prague 6.
The programme consists of style demonstrations and a series of workshops where visitors can try techniques themselves and talk to the people who train them. Represented are, for example, aikidō, jūdō, kendō, karate-dō, kyūdō and iaidō. The accompanying programme includes a Kyōgen theatre performance, short lectures, calligraphy and Japanese refreshments from the Miyabi restaurant and Dobrá čajovna. Advance tickets cost 250 CZK for adults until 27 October, 350 CZK on site; children under 5 enter free.
